Shilhaandara Resort – A Perfect Detailed Guide

Shilhaandara resort is one of the best adventurous tourist places in Bangalore.  In this resort, you can undertake lots of entertainment, where there is quad biking, ripe walking, play some indoor games like pool, outdoor games, enjoy in a differently designed discotheque also you can play paintball with your friends.

The way to Resort:

The resort surroundings are full of a rock mountain,  which is 60km from Bangalore, near Ramanagar. The resort is in a hilly area, it is a very nice place with a lot of greenery and rocky hills. The view of the forest area and the hills from certain places will really give you an awesome feel by the fresh air.

Natural beauty:

This resort is different from normal resorts as it is present in a quite large area with a big green lawn and a lot of open space. It is surrounded by natural beauty with full of greenish look,  They had built this resort without knocking down the natural beauty. The huge area was present to walk around and enjoy the different views.

PATH:

The path for the Shilhaandara Resort is really narrow. So I would suggest you take the other route even if it takes a few minutes extra to reach the place. If you choose any shortest distance, you will probably miss such beautiful views.

• Indoor games like Table, Carom, Chess, Dart, and usage of swimming pool also Rain dance – Which is available for 30 minutes.
• Outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, cycling, Bow & Arrow, and so on.

Badminton: You have to deposit INR 100 which you will get back when you return the racket

Carrom: There is no necessary to pay extra and is located just near the ticket counter.

ZIPLINE:

This zip line is 250 meters in length and 100 feet in height and it is considered one of the longest zip lines in Karnataka.

ROPE ACTIVITIES:

This activity qualifies you based on your strength, core, and balance. It seemed easy at first but trust me, it isn’t. This rope course is all about your upper body strength. It took us around 5 minutes to reach the edge point and come back again. That 5 minutes felt really long. This course was all about balance and if you have got those daddy long legs, you are at an advantage.

FOOD:

During lunch timings (1:00-2:30 pm) at Shilhaandara Resort, a buffet which is a meal consisting of several dishes was spread out that had every Indian food you could imagine. Nan, Rice, Biryani, Roti, Mutton, Chicken, Paneer. And it tastes really good.

PARKING:

Free parking is available to guests.

The resort is scenic and there are different kinds of activities to keep you the busy entire day. Parking isn’t a problem either, they have enough parking for more than 500 people.

The interiors had been fashionably designed like an ancient cave with huge rock structures where the benches were made out of stones. It is surrounded by hills and a huge forest area. They have the option of cottages or tents. Tents are well built and it is cozy for an experience of sleeping under the stars.
